Amapola Inn is located in the village
of Esperanza, on the south shore
of Vieques Island. Our guesthouse and
apartment rooms are only a few steps to the Caribbean Sea and
the local boardwalk/meeting
place called the “malecón.”
The view from our beachfront restaurant
is framed with coco palms and features
a backdrop of sailboats, pelicans,
and two little islands called “cayos”.
Each of these islands boasts great snorkeling,
surfing, and even a shipwreck.
Kayak rentals, biobay tour operators, breakfast
spots and gift shops are all within a few minutes
walking distance. Vehicle rentals are
recommended to get you to the beaches
of the expansive wildlife refuge and nature
reserves which comprise more than two thirds
of our island.
